OPERATION MAKEOVER (4.20.09)

She showed up for a regular day at work. She was in dress pants and a conservative sweater. Before she could blink she was in neon undergarmets and a 

terribly tacky bright, tiny sundress. She was spray tanned, made up and had her hair curled. She went from demure professional to gregarious bar fly.  All before there was time for a morning coffee.

its 12:21 on the eve of my 23rd birthday

its 12:21 on the eve of my 23rd birthday and this is what i look like. for no reason (or perhaps for many reasons) i am feeling rather ... low. or maybe lost? anyhow, i go to bed alone, i am tired. but proud of myself for finally starting this diary-esque blog. 

on a separate and unrelated note, this has been a monumental day. barack obama was sworn in as president. i spent the first three hours of my day in bed watching the inauguration, ecstatic. i cried. it was fabulous, i wore this great 'i survived black tuesday,' election 2004 anti bush tshirt all day. im pretty excited, i should be in a much b
